Choosing once rather than three times
Care planning, rotas, recruitment, records, finance. Most providers end up with four systems that do not talk to each other, chosen at different times for different reasons.
The cost is not the licences
CQC expects clear documentation, effective oversight and accurate record keeping. Whether you get those depends less on which system you buy than on whether the systems fit together and match how the service actually runs.
The usual pattern is a care planning platform chosen quickly at registration, a rota system added when staffing got complicated, and a finance system that has never been connected to either.
The cost is that nobody can answer a question that needs data from two of them.
Does a simple question take a spreadsheet?
If working out how many hours of one-to-one you delivered last month involves exporting and joining things by hand, that is the problem this addresses.
Talk it throughWhat it is
Requirements first, products second. That order is the whole job.
Requirements before products
What the service needs to be able to evidence, and only then what will do it.
Integrated, not accumulated
Systems chosen to work together rather than one at a time in a hurry.
Regulator-aware
Records that are accessible, secure, and in a form that survives being asked for.
What it covers, and what it does not
Strategy and implementation support. We are not a software vendor and we do not resell anybody's product.
Where a system genuinely fits, we will name it. Where the honest answer is that your existing setup is fine and the problem is how it is being used, we will say that instead.
Fees are quoted before any work starts. Nothing on this page is an offer.
Who it is for
New services
Choosing systems for the first time, where the first choice tends to stick.
Providers scaling
Past what their current setup supports.
Services with a records finding
Or an oversight finding, where the system is part of the answer.
Tell us what you are running and what you cannot answer.
Thirty minutes, no charge. The second half of that sentence is usually the more useful one.
