Your name goes to nobody without you saying yes to that service, on that day. There is no database anybody browses and no profile anyone can find.

Fit person interview, the registration application, the evidence they will ask for. Most of that preparation is the same work whoever ends up employing you.

We are still there afterwards
The first inspection under your name is the one that matters. Providers bring us in for that anyway — you do not stop being our concern once you have signed something.
What we ask, and why
Six things. They are the six that decide whether a service is a good fit for you, rather than whether you look good on paper.
Where you can travel to, honestly. A forty-minute commute at eight in the morning is a different job from the same one at six in the evening after an incident.
What you are registered for now, and what you would register for. Moving between adults and children's, or between residential and domiciliary, is a real application rather than a formality.
What you would not take. This is the useful one. Nobody ever asks it, and it is the reason most placements go wrong.

The position check plots what you are accountable for against what you can actually decide. It is confidential, it stores nothing, and it is worth running about your current post before you run it about a new one.
